1. SIGN UP FOR AYY’S ASSOCIATION TRAINING
AYY’s association training arranged on 8 December is approaching fast. Now it is time to sign up for the training which is much more comprehensive and diverse than the trainings in the previous years. Whether you are interested in the association rules, archiving, communications, financial management or meeting technique, you will certainly find interesting topics in the training.
It is particularly important that the old association members recommend the association training for the new members elected in the autumn meetings. The association training offers them a natural start to the association activities!
Please sign up at https://lomake.ayy.fi/yhdistykset/yhdistyskoulutus-8-12-2011/. Unfortunately, the form is only available in Finnish, but those who use other languages can sign up by email at jarjestoasiat@ayy.fi. If several people whose language is other than Finnish sign up, we will also arrange training in English.
2. STREAMLINED APPLICATION PROCESS OF TTE-FUND IS UNDERWAY
Do you have an idea but no funding? A continuous, streamlined application process of TTE-Fund is now underway!
TTE-Fund (fund for promoting teekkari activities) allocates grants to all AYY members and communities operating within the Student Union. TTE-Fund supports activities which reach for the stars, make others excited and which can be seen and heard.
You can apply for the maximum of 300 euro grant with a brief project description through the streamlined application process of TTE-Fund, which was introduced in November. The streamlined application process is intended for small projects implemented with a tight schedule. The applicant can alternatively receive either the amount one applied for or no funding at all, so you should carefully consider the amount you will apply for! The grant is paid afterwards against a brief final report and the financial statement of the project.
Applications for the streamlined application process can be send from 1 Nov 2011 onwards until the end of May. If the lighter streamlined process is popular, it will be continued next autumn.
More information on the streamlined application process is available at TTE-Fund website at http://tter.ayy.fi/.
3. AATE COMMUNITY EFFORT PROJECT AVAILABLE FOR ASSOCIATIONS
AYY’s culture arena and student media Aate is looking for enthusiastic and committed group with renovation skills to do extensive basic renovation on their premises. Work includes, among other things, painting, restoration of surfaces and miscellaneous installation work. According to preliminary plans, approximately one month will be used for the project. The project will start as soon as possible. The compensation for the work will be based on the bid made by the association and agreed after an introduction visit and a completed and precise work list.
