  1. Servin Mökki’s kitchen training in October

Would you or your association like to organize a party at Smökki and make the food yourselves? Do you need help in using an institutional kitchen?

We have a solution for your problems: Smökki’s kitchen training.

There are two training sessions held in October: on Tuesday, the 10th of October 2017, and on Monday, the 30th of October 2017. Both training sessions start at 18:00.

Sign up before 15:00 on the day before the training at the latest via this form:

NB! The number of participants for the training sessions is limited. The training sessions are held in Finnish.

For more information, contact the kitchen trainers at keittiokouluttajat (a) list.ayy.fi.

  1. Curriculum planning training Oct 11th and Oct 18th

Listening to students is an important part of the curriculum process, and this autumn, all the degree programs are preparing a new two-year curriculum. AYY will organize a training session for students about the curriculum process, how to take part in the process and the basic concepts of the curriculum.

The training is especially useful for persons responsible for educational affairs in associations, both present and future ones, as well as for chairpersons. The reform will concern all degree programs, so make sure that you have someone from your association attending and hearing more about it!

More information about the training and registration can be found here: https://lomake.ayy.fi/koulutuspolitiikka/opetussuunnitelmakoulutus-11-10-18-10/

More information: susanna.koistinen at ayy.fi (Specialist, Academic Affairs)

  1. Come work at the Teekkarisillis!

We offer associations the opportunity to make some money at the Teekkari Tradition Party’s Teekkarisillis.

We need a group of at least 15 eager people to work at the Teekkarisillis on the 11th of November from 8:00 to 22:00. The work includes everything from the morning arrangements to cooking and cleaning. We will pay a compensation of 1000€ to the association for their work.

If your association is unable recruit the required number of workers for the Teekkarisillis, you can also split the job between two associations. It would be best if one association could handle the whole job, however.

If you want to sign up or have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me.

Tekniikan akateemiset TEK is organizing a science day at the Urban Mill on Saturday, the 28th of October. Would your association or excursion group be willing to earn 350€ in volunteer money? We need 6 people to guide the TEK people with their families with several light-hearted science challenge checkpoints, aimed towards children between the ages of 3 and 12. At the same time, you can excite and inspire children into technology and science and possibly spark the interest of a few technical students of the future!

Where: Urban Mill, Betonimiehenkuja 3E, Espoo

When: 11:30-15:30

Needed: 6 enthusiastic volunteers, Finnish language a must

The event was filled up in an instant, and a total of 250 participants are now arriving to take part. More information on the event: https://www.tek.fi/fi/palvelut/tapahtumat/koko-perheen-tiedepaiva-espoo
