Senaatintori will be filled with an intense celebrating atmosphere as the Akateeminen Wartti is held for the 62nd time. In addition to the traditional and speedy relay race there will be a carnival with loads of awesomeness to experience.

The idea of the race is to advance in the principles of relay race as far as possible in 15 minutes. In the history of Akateeminen Wartti pretty much anything from a living goat to a nursing bottle has served as a baton. Bring your own baton!

The event enables enjoying Wappu on padded Senaatintori as the DJ’s EAS and Mane play the music. To lift up your excitement levels you can test your nerves by jumping the first Aalto-benji in history. If the 50m tower is just a bit too much, you can also jump away in an old-fashioned bouncy castle.
