Are you looking for a summer job? The season to search for summer jobs starts again in January. Summer Job Day! -event brings together business students and some employers offering summer jobs. Come and meet the employer representatives, SEFE representatives, Murjottelu and Career Services!

Summer Job Day! -information lecture

Tuesday, 22nd January, from 8.30 am to 11 am, in the Mandatum Life -hall, A-304

The lecture will provide a general introduction to summer job seeking in Finland, including:

  • Basics of Finnish working culture & main job search channels,
  • CV and cover letter,
  • job interviews and
  • the internship grants available in Aalto BIZ.

The session is run by Jonna Söderholm, Head of Corporate Relations and Career Services of the School of Business. Guest speaker, career story: Daniil Pokidko, co-founder of Option Ltd.

The event will start at 9.00 am; breakfast is served at 8.30 am. Max number of participants is 60. This lecture is mainly targeted to foreign BIZ students but all Aalto business students can enroll. Enrollments by Friday 18th January at CareerWeb Events calendar https://into.aalto.fi/en/careerweb.

Murjottelu

Murjottelu (The Interdisciplinary Summer Training Campaign) helps students to find internships in their own fields of study, and companies to recruit talented trainees. The internship will take place in a company as a working team con­sisting of two or more students from different fields of study (business, technology, arts and design). The typical working period is 2-4 months during the summer. Murjottelu has been organized since 2004 and more than 250 students have been offered an internship through the program. Come & meet Murjottelu coordinator Siina Lepola.
