Once again on the eve of May Day at the heart of Otaniemi, in Smökki, is going to be Wiinaton Wappu, a non-alcoholic Wappu party. There will be entertaining wappu activities and games, live music performed by the band ‘Ristiinkytkentä.’ And of course traditional Wappu food will be served.

You are very welcome to join and celebrate wappu in good company! The event is organised by the Guild of the Cross.

The event is free and non-alcoholic, as well as entirely family friendly. Just before Wiinaton Wappu there is also Wappu evening service in Otaniemi chapel at 7 pm and the Wappu party itself starts in Smökki at 8 pm.
