The international section of Aalto university Student Union brings the World to Campus! Get to know new clubs and associations that welcome international members, taste new cuisines from pop-up restaurants, be impessed by the talent show competitors skills or sense of humor, find treasures from the flea market and experience an outdoor movie!

The festival is powered by the clubs of AYY and international societies of Helsinki region who will showcase their accessibility to the public by forming a village of tents, stands and stages to present a unified front of student internationality. The full list of participating clubs and societies will be announced at a later point.

Having a pop-up restaurant?

Have you always dreamt of having your own café or restaurant? We offer you a great chance of opening one! Pop-up restaurant is a temporary restaurant that operates only for a limited time, most often during festivals or during other festivities. A pop-up restaurant can specialize in certain foods: one can sell only for example tomato soup or cup cakes! Only sky’s the limit!

Selling at the flea market?
One’s trash is another’s treasure! Do you have some items that you no longer use yourself, but don’t want to throw those away either? Clothes, books, music, etc.? A flea market is a great place to sell those items. You can also sell items that you have made yourself, such as jewellery or handicrafts! Taking part in the talent show?
Do you dance, sing, juggle, integrate quickly, read tea leaves? Do you remember 100 decimals of pi or can you do the splits? Do you drink a bottle of soda in one gulp? Step up on the World Campus stage and show your talent! This humorous contest starts at 5 pm. The winner will receive a great prize!
