Koneinsinöörikillan satavuotisjuhlavuosi on viimein pyörähtänyt käyntiin! Juhlavuoden kunniaksi KIK näkyy ja kuuluu läpi lukuvuoden. 100 vuotta on Killalle pitkä taival ja myös opiskelijoiden on syytä tuntea se nahoissaan. Fiiliksen luomiseksi Koneinsinöörikilta järjestää sadan tunnin viestijuoksun välillä Amfi – Vanha Päärakennus 26.9.-30.9. Ankkuriosuus päättyy tyylillä Lakinlaskijaisiin.

Viestin reitti kulkee Keilaniemen ja Lauttasaaren kautta. Reitin puolessa välissä on vaihtopiste, yhden etapin pituudeksi tulee siis 4,2 kilometriä. Etenemistyyli on vapaa, juosta voi yksin, kaksin tai porukalla. Ajalla tai tyylillä ei ole merkitystä, huomattavasti tärkeämpää on loistava tunnelma.

Sadan tunnin tavoitteeseen pääseminen on iso ponnistus ja siihen tarvitsemme teitä! Ilmoittautuminen tapahtumaan hoituu tapahtuman nettisivulla.

In English:

100th anniversary of the Guild of Mechanical Engineers is finally ON! To celebrate the respectable age of 100 years KIK will be active trhough the whole year. So that students could feel the long path of 100 years KIK will organize a 100 hour relay race between Otaniemi Amfitheater and the old main building at Bulevardi. The run will take place from the 26th to 30th of September. The last leg will end to Lakinlaskijaiset-party!

The route will go through Keilaniemi and Lauttasaari. Halfway through the route there will be one checkpoint thus the distance of one leg will be 4,2 kilometres. You can choose any style you want to progress as soon as it remotely reminds us of running. You can run alone or with your friends. It does not matter how fast you are, only the great feeling counts!
