The theme of this year’s Arabia Maskerad is inspired by the Chernobyl disaster of 1986. Only recently topped by Fukushima as the worst nuclear event in history, Chernobyl is the POP-CULT icon for the underlying toxicity of our First World lifestyle.

ARABIA MASKERAD is the biggest masquerade in Finland, celebrated with a different theme each year. Tracing its history to early 20th century and the Ateneum Maskerad, the event is known to host the most extraordinary costumes imaginable. The event is organized by TOKYO, a student organization of Aalto University School of Art, Design and Architecture.

Arabia Maskerad on Aalto-yliopiston Taiteiden ja Suunnittelun ylioppilaiden, TOKYO ry:n järjestämä naamiaistapahtuma. Tänä vuonna nämä Suomen suurimmat naamiaiset järjestetään Ääniwallissa, esiintyjinä DJ:t Big Mistake, Hannu Ikola, DJ Indigo. Spartan Lover sekä VJ-duo Rex Kwon Do.

Bileet alkavat lauantaina 9.11. klo 20. Ääniwalli sijaitsee Vallilassa, osoitteessa Pälkäneentie 13.
