Aalto ARTS Eloseminaari now the first time in English:

Harvesting the fields of learning

Starting seminar for the new academic year

• time: Wed 21st August, 2013
• transport: from the city center at 8.30 am, transport to the city center  around 7 pm
• place: Konst&Form, Gumbostrand, Sipoo, http://konstoform.fi/
• participants: ARTS faculty and staff members
• theme: Degree reform? Educational development? Moving to Otaniemi? Having new learning environments? Learning, studying and teaching in the future?

The program consists of two main segments.

During the morning following topics will be introduced by invited speakers: How shall we learn and teach arts, design and architecture in the future? What is the role of our physical, social and mental states and environments in this?

In the afternoon we will learn about the six proposals (stay strong sweetie, HIPSTERKASBAH, 492700, VÄRE, AINOA and NOLLI) in architectural competition for our new school and discuss their potential in facilitating future learning and teaching. http://campus2015.aalto.fi/en/
