This year, Aalto Gamers is organizing the Finnish Student Championships for Hearthstone and League of Legends. For both games, the tournament comprises of online qualifiers, after which qualifying teams will be invited to the finals to be played at the event venue on 10 November 2018.

We welcome everyone to come watch the finals for free, with food and drinks served! The games will also be streamed live at: https://www.twitch.tv/aaltogamers

TIMELINE & IMPORTANT DATES
• HS Online Qualifiers: 20.10. from 12:00-18:00 (can stretch longer)
• LoL Online Qualifiers: 27.10. from 12:00-18:00 (can stretch longer)
• LoL & HS Finals: 10.11. from 12:00-22:00

SIGNING UP AND TEAM REQUIREMENTS
Hearthstone:
• Deadline 17.10. at 23:55
• Must be university-level student
League of Legends:
• Deadline 24.10. at 23:55

• No need to be from same university

• Qualifier format (8 qualify for finals): Swiss, Last Hero Standing (4 decks, one ban)
• Finals format: Single elimination, Last Hero Standing (4 decks, one ban)

LEAGUE OF LEGENDS TOURNAMENT INFO

• Qualifier format (4 teams qualify for finals): Swiss, BO1
• Finals format: Single elimination, BO3

PRIZES
To be announced, but expect a prize pool in the thousands, and some great electronics prizes!

RULES
Finnish Student Sports Federation rules are applied for team line-ups and general tournament regulations. The actual games will be played under the rules of Finnish Esports Federation.
