One hundred years ago, in year 1911, China’s last imperial dynasty Qing was overthrown. This meant an end to the system of seventy two wives for the Emperor; but the national-wide standard entrance exam to college and future career has remained until today – just in a different format and with different subjects. As the only living nation from the Four Great Ancient Civilizations, we are not yet understood by any westerner.
