The best way to end Wappu, the 1st of May celebration, is to come to Polytech Orchestra’s 88th Waputin concert! Waputin has a different theme every year: usually the concert starts with humoristic concert music, after which waltzes and other dance music is performed by The Polytech Orchestra, Retuperän WBK and Salonkiyhtye Jorma.

The ticket is’nt just a regular piece of paper, in fact it’s the oldest 1st of May magazine! Even though most of the jokes are in Finnish, there’s a ton of visual humour as well. This year the theme of the concert is Scotland and therefore the ticket is a kilt. Find out what can be found under the kilt?
